01 About Meiporul

Meiporul is a free desktop application developed by Hepta7 that provides tools for managing MongoDB, SQL databases, Redis, and REST API testing from a single interface. Meiporul is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Meiporul does not require account registration and does not charge for any current feature. All functionality described on our website and documentation is provided under a "Free Forever" model, at no cost, with no subscription or license key required.

02 Eligibility

You must be capable of forming a binding contract to use the Services. If you are using Meiporul on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

03 License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Hepta7 grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use Meiporul for personal or internal business purposes.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the application without our prior written consent;
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, branding, or labels contained in the Services;
• Use the Services to build a competing product that copies our features, design, or documentation;
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.

04 No Account, No Telemetry

Meiporul is designed as a local-first, privacy-first application:

• No user account or sign-up is required to use the desktop applications.
• We do not collect personal data, usage analytics, or telemetry from the application.
• Databases, connection details, and data you manage through Meiporul remain on your device and are not transmitted to or stored by Hepta7.

We are not responsible for data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access arising from your own systems, networks, or third-party databases you connect to.

05 Pricing

All Meiporul desktop applications and their full feature sets are currently provided free of charge, with no subscriptions, hidden fees, or feature restrictions.

We reserve the right to introduce separate, clearly labeled paid products in the future. Any such product would be optional and would not affect the free status of the tools available at the time these Terms were last updated.

06 Intellectual Property

The Meiporul name, logo, website, documentation, and application (including its design, source code, and content) are the property of Hepta7 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

Third-party trademarks referenced on our website or in our documentation (including but not limited to MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and other database or tool names) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. Meiporul is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these third parties unless explicitly stated.

07 Community and Discord

We maintain a Discord community for support, feedback, and feature discussion. Use of our Discord server is subject to Discord's own terms of service and any community guidelines we may publish separately.

We reserve the right to moderate, restrict, or remove access to community spaces at our discretion.

08 Documentation and Support

We provide documentation to help you install, configure, and use Meiporul. While we aim to keep this documentation accurate and current, it is provided for informational purposes only and may be updated or changed without prior notice.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be free of errors, uninterrupted, or compatible with every system configuration.

09 Third-Party Databases and Services

Meiporul allows you to connect to third-party databases and services (such as MongoDB, SQL databases, and Redis instances) that you control or have permission to access.

You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to access and modify any database or data source you connect to;
• Complying with the terms of service of any third-party database, hosting provider, or API you interact with through Meiporul;
• Any consequences resulting from actions performed through the application, including data modification, deletion, or exposure.

10 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

YOU USE MEIPORUL AT YOUR OWN RISK, PARTICULARLY WHEN CONNECTING TO OR MODIFYING PRODUCTION DATABASES.

11 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HEPTA7 AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES, WHICH, GIVEN MEIPORUL IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, SHALL BE ZERO.

12 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hepta7, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13 Updates and Changes to the Services

We may update, modify, or discontinue any part of Meiporul or its documentation at any time, with or without notice.

We may also release new versions of the application; continued use of updated versions constitutes acceptance of any changes to functionality.

14 Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Material changes may be announced through our website or Discord community.

Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

15 Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services (including community spaces such as Discord) if you violate these Terms.

Since Meiporul requires no account, termination primarily applies to community access and any future services requiring registration.

16 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to Hepta7's place of business, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.

17 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
